“It is Worth the Panoramic Drive” to view Tom and Sallie McKelvey’s astoundingly beautiful home of Early Tuscan design. Note the original ox cart table that sits in their living room. Monochromatic colors create warmth and a feeling of Fall both inside and out, capturing the essence of Tuscany through perfect design. The home’s awesome views of the surrounding Ramona hills are displayed from large windows and doors in the lovely home. You will find a granite top kitchen, family room, a large master suite. Bedrooms, and an office and more to view.

Santa Comes to Ramona – Jill & Darrel McKenzie, 17253 Prairie Mile Road

“A Home Capturing Christmas” is definitely the theme for Darrel and Jill McKenzie’s lovely and exciting holiday home. Displayed are over fifty lighted houses from Dickens Christmas Carol, to turn-of-the-century Christmas in the City, and Twelve Days of Christmas, plus so many more delightful surprises can he found. In the great room, a tree with over 1200 lights plus hundreds of ornaments welcome you, along with various Santas plus other Christmas treasures are displayed throughout. What a delightful place to visit … so do enjoy.

Directions:
Right turn onto Black Mountain. Road becomes Magnolia. Right turn on Hwy. 78/Main Street. Left turn on 3rd Street and continue on approximately 3 miles. (Street name changes to Vista Ramona). Left turn on Prairie Mile Road. Home on right.

A Family Christmas – Colleen & Tom Christensen, 15605 Calistoga Drive

“If you are looking for interesting stories on special objects” visit the home of Torn and Colleen Christensen. One gorgeous home with approximately 5,ooo square feet of touches of the Orient, spacious windows, soft colors, arrangements—both antique and American. Just enjoy and take in the beauty and convenience the Christensens have created. The living room, poolroom, and dining room are an open area. The cherry cabinetry and black granite counter in the kitchen are strikingly beautiful.

New Year’s Artist Gallery, Shirley & Lowell Leyrer with Judy Nachazel, 15619 Indian Head Court

“A Must Come and View” all the wonderful fine art on display at Lowell and Shirley Lyerer’s home. As you enter, a lovely bronze sculpture fountain encased with palms and plants meets your eye and throughout the downstairs area, a variety of exquisite works of art are on display. Most of the Artists are associated with the Ramona Open Studio Event and will be available to answer questions concerning their art works. You just may discover the perfect art piece for your home. Champagne punch will be served while you absorb this special gallery home located on the San Vicente Golf Course.
